The next on is coming soon
- This workshop is for those that have had some experience with a “weave it” style pin loom. It is an advantage if you have already used a pin loom pattern chart. If you would like to practice with a pattern prior to the workshop, put the request in comments at checkout and I will email one to you.
- what participants will be learning
Participants will be weaving a beaded patterned square on a 4 inch loom. Patterns will be supplied and will be emailed to you before the workshop.
- Equipment and materials needed – A 4 inch regular spaced weave it style pin loom, it will have 93 pins. A ball of 8 ply wool. Some 6mm glass beads that are on a string (these have a big enough hole to thread onto 8 ply yarn). Most 4″ patterns use 30 – 50 beads per square. The needle that came with your loom, a needle threaded with dental floss or other strong thread that the beads can be threaded onto & a pair of scissors.
My maximum number per workshop is 8 people. The workshop can be run within 1.5 hours, but I have no problems if people need a little more time to ask questions etc.
Please contact me if you have any questions or need to check the size of your loom.
You will be emailed a link to join the GoToMeeting class. GoToMeeting is free and easy to use. You are in control of your privacy, you can mute yourself and hide your webcam if you prefer.
