Our weaving pin looms are manufactured with a sturdy blackwood frame and our pins are especially machined from stainless steel with a smooth rounded tip. The loom comes with a specially designed stainless steel needle which features a stepped head with a smooth tip to assist with the last weaving row.
The looms have the weaving row numbers laser etched into the timber frame. These numbers are a great help when weaving patterns.
Our 2″ rectangle pin loom regular fits on your lap and can be used almost anywhere. It is great for using up bits and pieces of yarns.
The pattern of the pins is in the weave it style. The regular looms have finely spaced pins for the correct gauge to use 6 and 8 ply yarns, while the bulky looms have wider spaced pins for the correct gauge to use textured and thicker ply yarns. The finished woven rectangle has a lovely scalloped edge.
Each size of our looms are designed to fit together eg two 2″ rectangles join together to make a 2″ square, two 2″ triangles join together to make a 2″ square.
We now have packing forks available to suit our looms. Packing forks are used to pack the weft firmly in place and help seperate the rows.
