Our drop spindles have a precision machined brass whorl and aluminium shaft. They are beautifully weighted and the approx weight of our light spindle is 30gm. They feature a notched whorl and a stainless steel hand bent hook. Much of the weight of our whorl is in the ring on the outer most circumference. This ring acts similar to a flywheel and increases spin time.
